MORSØ

The Dan-List Company in Denmark manufactures the MORSØ machines and blades. The tool steel used for the cutting edge on the MORSØ blade is formulated of Austrian steel with a Rockwell hardness of 64 and must be special ordered by Dan-List one year in advance of delivery. The cutting edge is attached to the tool’s body and then carefully heat tempered with DanList’s own secret process. The knife is then precision surface ground to thickness, hollow ground with the grinding wheel between 8″ and 10″ diameter at 30° to the face of the knife, then hand honed and deburred.
